Bios and Photos
Lyn Fisher, President and Co-founder
 With
15 years experience in the financial services industry, Lyn Fisher
began her career as a journalist for a daily newspaper. Currently,
as President and founder of Financial Forum Inc. and co-director of
Fisher LeBlanc Group, she oversees the development and
implementation of ideas for Financial Forum Bookstore, Financial
Forum Speakers Bureau and Financial Forum Publishing.
Lyn also is publisher and editor of Financial EVENTS, a
magazine for financial meeting planners and co-author of PR Savvy
for the Financial Professional, The Wealth Factor and The
Trust Equation. Most recently, she and Sydney LeBlanc compiled
and edited The World of Money Management. Her articles have
also appeared in various industry magazines, including Global
Investing, Advisor Today and Financial Planning.
Earlier in her career, Lyn served as Associate Publisher of Bank
Investment Representative (BIR) magazine. She was instrumental
in establishing BIR as the bank investment industry's most widely
read publication. In this position she led the marketing, sales and
circulation efforts. Lyn also organized and implemented the popular
BIR National Sales Conferences and Sales Management Forums, attended
by more than 1200 industry professionals annually.
After Thomson Publishing (New York) acquired BIR, Lyn joined them
for a brief period before becoming VP of Client Services for an east
coast PR/marketing corporation. Formerly a financial consultant for
Smith Barney, Lyn held series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Steven Drozdeck, Vice President and
Co-founder
 Co-director
of Financial Forum BOOKstore, Steven Drozdeck also is founder and
CEO of The Progress Center, an education and training company for
financial professionals. Steve has applied his training approaches
to numerous areas, including financial services, the military,
education, private industry, and health care. He has trained more
than 60,000 industry professionals.
A popular speaker at conferences, he has been featured on 23
financial services-oriented TV programs, as well as authored
numerous books on sales and marketing, including The Broker's
Edge, Managing Your Business For Success, Consultative
Selling Techniques for Financial Professionals, The Effective
Manager, Empowering Innovative People, Professional
Selling, and What They Don't Teach You in Sales 101.
In addition to being the creator of a Market Strategies course that
has been taught to over 20,000 financial services professionals,
Steve is also a regular columnist for Senior Consultant and
Journal of Personal Financial Planning magazines. He has been
involved in the financial services industry since 1974.
